I always don't want to be the one who forgets my own insights, so I want to write something. I have been working in the automation industry for some years, so I would like to write about my personal understanding and some prospects for automation, in order to stimulate further discussion

I have recently read some articles online about robots, and it seems that both domestic and foreign countries are particularly optimistic about China's robot market in the coming years. This is something I have always agreed with, but rather than being optimistic about the future of China's robot market, it is more accurate to say that it is optimistic about China's automation market. If you think about the mainstream of the future of mankind, it must be informatization and "interconnection". Undoubtedly, the Internet has paved the way for our future. How does the manufacturing industry take informatization? I think the first is automation. When the manufacturing industry slowly automates informatization, it is also the real transformation of the so-called Internet from "delivering value" to "creating value" of goods. At that time, human beings can become truly civilized and intelligent from low-end workers.

However, when it comes to automation, many "experts" talk about robots. Robots have become representative products of automation because of their advantages.

First, mass production of mature products.

From non-standard to standard, the robot has reached the mature level today. The non-standard standardization is a permanent trend. Only after the non-standard standardization can the product be really produced, and the product can be widely accepted by the society. Because it is stable in performance and easy to replicate, production is no longer complicated and development cycle is short. Robots are such a mature product. It is based on this premise that it has the advantages of high accuracy and stability.

Second, small floor space.

The extensive concept of six-axis robot shows that the robot takes up a small butt to carry out automatic operations such as handling and assembly in a wide range. Because of this, all kinds of robots in China have been mushrooming in the past two years. The number of robots displayed in the Shenzhen Automation Exhibition in 2014 and 13 can be compared with the number of robot companies produced in this year. However, most of the domestic robots are at the stage of copying, and there is no rule out that many robot technology companies are cheating on the state subsidies. For the convenience of innovation, accuracy and stability, compared with the well-known foreign brands such as ABB and FANUC, some robots can only be counted as mass-produced handling mechanisms, and so on.
